Mark's £155 ebay special Hoodride gets an MOT..It's a very solid car despite the looks. Slammed and narrowed by next week? We hope so!

Billy dropped his oval bug in for the rear to be truly slammed - other local VW specialists had tried and failed to get it all apart.. Narrowed beam next eh billy!?
Stuart's '61 came in for a 2" narrowed beam, CB drop spindles, wide 5 disc kit and a mild drop at the rear.. Now it stops like a bug should and is ready for a bigger motor.

15th September 2006

Martin dropped by to give us his beetle beam for narrowing...The bus will be next

Jason and Lisa brought their bus in for the full underseal treatment, before we drop it a few inches.

Our year so far

It has been one hell of a summer. We have taken in plenty of shows, both in the UK and Europe as well as moving to new premises and of course slamming a few VW's. Check out some pics of our last European trip to Spa in Belgium.

Rob's bus at a rest stop somewhere in Belgium...

Shortly after Martin's oil pump ate a spring washer.

Hard 'Porsche Salzburg' 1970 Bay, complete with 2" narrowed beam and Gas Burner wheels

The wheels and stance on this early Karmann Cabrio pushed all our buttons.

Rock solid split bug on chromed raders from Radikalbugs in Belgium.
Nice original '63 Anthracite Grey Bug with a narrowed beam
Clean early squareback on detailed Fuchs wheels
Late notchbacks rarely look good, but this one looks just right on polished Fuchs.
Awesome Lotus white '66 13 window deluxe with a narrowed beam and original Sears Rader wheels.

Ben's Sea blue 11 window with a 4" narrowed beam and original Empi sprints is a show regular

New Vintage Werks Blog

This is our new Blog. The old blog took a lot of time to update, so we decided to change to an easier to use format.
Here are some pics of a previous project to whet your appetite... This 1965 Beetle was bought from a friend in Vienna, Austria with black plastic checks stuck all over it and a severe case of altitude sickness. The most important part was that it was rust free, never welded and had mostly original paint. Once driven the 1000 miles to England we hit it up with a 4" narrowed front beam, CB drop spindles and a 2 spline drop in the rear. We then removed the black stuff and fitted some Albert mirrors and an original 1965 interior...sweet.
